In multi-farm environment, where different XenApp 6.5 farms are managed by one support team you may need to configure separte Citrix AppCenter consoles pointing to the particular server or farm. Using customised console you can address the following issues:
- remove Citrix Single Sign-On prompt and display in AppCenter
- avoid running AppCenter discovery wizard each time when you need to connect to the different farm
- change AppCenter display language

How to remove Single Sign-On component from Citrix AppCenter ?
To remove Single Sign-On component from Citrix AppCenter when console is already installed you must rename the MetaFrame Password Manager Console folder located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\MetaFrame Password Manager Console. The orginal view of AppCenter is shown in Figure 1 while modified console is shown in Figure 2.
How to create customised AppCenter console ?
1. Login to XenApp server with AppCenter already installed and from cmd command prompt run mmc /32. Note that AppCenter snap-in is 32 bit and it won’t appear in the list of available snap-ins when you start pure 64bit mmc.exe process.
2. Click File-Add/Remove Snap-in.
3. Select Citrix AppCenter, click Add then click OK.
4. Right click on Citrix AppCenter and select New Window from here.
5. Enable Skip this screen in the future and press Next to continue.
6. Press Next to continue. For more information how to remove Single Sign-On see section above.
7. Add required server name or press Add Local Computer button.
8. Press Next to continue.
9. Enable Close this wizard when discovery is successful and press Finish to continue.
10. New console will be opened in a new window.
11. To customise new console press View -> Customise
12. Press File -> Options to assign a new console name, icon etc.
13. Press Yes to continue.
14. Press File -> Save As new msc file.
15. Open newly created msc file. Custom AppCenter console with new name and configured farm should open as it is shown in Figure 17 below.
16. Follow the same procedure to create separate console for other farms etc.
