In part 2 of XenApp 7.5 install guide series we will configure Virtual Delivery Agent software on Windows 2012 R2 server.

Configure Virtual Delivery Agent software

1. Mount XenDesktop iso and start installer. On the welcome screen only those options are available which are compatibile with operating system detected on used machine. As it is shown in Figure 1 virtual delivery agent software for server operating system will be installed.

2. I will use exisitng machines and I will select option Enable connections to a server machinesPress Next to continue.

3.  Press Next to continue.

4. Add XenApp controler address and press Test connection button. When controler address is successfully verified you will see green checkbox as it is shown in Figure 4 below. Press Add button to add controler address to the list.  Press Next to continue.

5. Press Next to continue.

7. Press Install to continue.

8. When server is restarted, we are ready to add this to the XenApp Machine Catalog. 

9. Repeat steps 1-8 on all additional servers, which should be added to the Machine Catalog.
