In last part of XenApp 7.5 install guide series we will verify Citrix receiver connection to make sure that applications published in new XenApp 7.5 installation are accessible in StoreFront.

Verification

I will use existing windows 7 workstation with installed and configured citrix receiver. To perform our test I need just to login to StoreFront and connect to the application published in XenApp 7.5. If you need step by step instruction how to install and configure citrix receiver please see an article XenDesktop 7 Deep Dive Part 7 – Configure Receiver.

1. Login to the Citrix StoreFront website

2. Click red plus as it is shown in the Figure 1 below

2. Click All Apps and verify the list of available applications – if you are not sure, compare listed applications with the applications configured in Part 4 in delivery group.

3. Select appropriate type of access to local files. This can be also configured via group policy.

4. Application selected in step 1 should open.

Everything is working fine and resources published in the new XenApp 7.5 are available for use. Good job 🙂
